Printable 4 team bracket
Free printable 4 team bracket: seeded semifinals (1 v 4, 2 v 3), the final and a champion box, with lines for names and scores. Prints on one page.
How to fill in a 4 team bracket
Write your best team on line 1 and the others in order on lines 2 to 4, or draw the numbers from a hat. Round 1 is the semifinals: 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. The winners move along the lines to the final, and the winner of the final goes in the champion box.
A 4 team bracket takes 2 rounds and 4 − 1 = 3 games, numbered 1 to 3 so you can call them by number. Write each score in the small box next to the name.
Only 3 teams?
Use this bracket with one bye: seed 1 skips the semifinals and plays the winner of 2 vs 3 in the final, so only 2 games are played. With so few teams a round robin is often fairer: 3 teams play 3 games and every team plays 2. The bracket chart lists the byes for 3 to 32 teams.
Make this bracket with your team namesPaste the names and Bracket Maker draws the bracket, adds the byes for any number of teams, moves the winners on as you enter scores and names the champion. Right here in your browser, or offline in the free Android app.

Frequently asked questions
How many games are in a 4 team bracket?
3 games over 2 rounds: two semifinals and the final. Single elimination always plays one game fewer than the number of teams. A 4 team double elimination bracket plays 6 games, or 7 if the grand final is reset.
Who plays who in a 4 team bracket?
Seed 1 plays seed 4 and seed 2 plays seed 3. Seeds 1 and 2 are in opposite halves, so the two best teams can only meet in the final.
How do I pick the seeds?
Rank the teams by last season, a rating or a quick round robin, and give the best one seed 1. For a random draw, put the names in a hat and write them on lines 1 to 4 in the order they come out.
